Once upon a time, wicker loveseats served the very important purpose of keeping two individuals appropriately separated while they discreetly conveyed their feelings for one another. Earlier than that, however, these "mini" couches were considered just roomy enough for a lady to sit comfortably surrounded by her voluminous skirts.
