A pillbox cushion sits invitingly atop the Eastern Shore ottoman. Crafted as a compact footprint for smaller sun rooms or living spaces, it offers the comforts of a foot rest and the charms of traditional wicker styling. Rounded corners on the rectangular base add a softening effect that also accentuates the rattan fiber weave with tighter braided trim at the bottom edge for accent. Wrapped legs and ball feet are pretty ornamentals that provide solid support. As part of a larger collection, a colorful array of finishes in neutral, light, trendy and vintage hues are included to create a perfect match.

Cushion is made of Permasoft foam wrapped in Dacron batting and covered in a cotton blend zippered shell (60% cotton/40% poly) suitable only for interior or covered exterior use.

Suitable for Indoor Use/Limited Outdoor Exposure
Suitable for a well covered porch environment, preferably a screened in porch.
This item is not recommended for use outdoors in the direct elements without any shelter.
For porch use we do offer an Acrylic, Non-Toxic and Water Based Varnish Application that will provide some protection against the elements. We suggest that this application should be Re-Applied Every 1-1/2 to 2 years if using on a porch.

The Natural Finish is “Natural & Green” in the raw state; No Top Coat, No Stain and No Finish. Factory uses only Grade “A” White Wicker for the Natural Product Line. Grade A is earned because of the lack of blemishes in the wicker or rattan, hand picking only color consistent pieces of wicker and rattan for these raw pieces. A Non Toxic Sealer Coat is applied at the factory so the paint or stain does not soak through to the core of the wicker and rattan.
A Protective Finish (Acrylic Coating) a clear coat which will not be noticed by the UN-trained eye can be applied to the furniture piece to offer additional protection for the raw materials if your intentions are not to paint, stain or varnish the piece later.
